The Poetry Foundation's Collection and Cocktails

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to shoot the Poetry Foundation's Collection and Cocktails event. The evening was filled with many wonderful amusements. Including a scavenger hunt through the collection and readings by some great local poets. There were also people recording some of their favorite poems for the audio collection. Thanks to the Foundation for including us!

One Step At A Time Camp

On a beautiful day up at Lake Geneva we had a blast hanging out around camp and photographing all of the campers and counselors having a great time!  One Step At A Time Camp is a wonderful overnight camp for kids living with cancer, put on by the Children's Oncology Services, Inc.  The kids at camp are guaranteed fun activities, support, and many smiles, and they all leave eager to come back the next year to reunite with friends and have another fun summer just being a kid!

The kids splashed around in the lake and did cannon balls off of the dock...

They played fun games and got to catch up with counselors and friends...

Some kids did some cool arts and crafts...

And there was even a mud pie eating contest!  We always have fun up at camp, and you can check out more about camp on their website!

"Taste of The Clare"

If you know anyone looking for a place to retire in Chicago – this place should be on the top of their list! The Clare, Chicago's only high-rise retirement home held an event for potential residents. The Clare's chef whipped up a scrumptious five-course meal, and even had a sommelier join them to discuss why the different wines went well with the food.
